Instead of buying the parts to build a PC, as I've been doing for over 25 years, I went to Micro Center with intentions of either buying a laptop or a PC and finally decided on a PC:

I also got a 4tb external hdd:

I also bought another keyboard but forgot to get a new mouse pad. :P But...After I got home and opened the box I saw a keyboard and mouse inside! I didn't even know the PC came with it! :bnghd I think that I've been so used to building my own PC's and would usually by a matching keyboard (for color) to go with it that I never realized that I didn't need one.  :rflmao :rflmao :rflmao

I rarely play games anymore except for the occasional solitare. LOL Too busy with other things.

Btw, the Gigabyte software is awesome! It comes with software where you can prioritize which program you want to have the most priority. Let's say you are downloading files or streaming. You can set it to the highest priority above everything else! It also has a wealth of info about things I haven't even thought of before. I can also adjust the colors of the fans like making them do pulse flashes of only one or more colors and can change the colors as I please as well how fast or slow the colors move.

I still have to read up on the youtube vids for win 11 security, etc. and install some of the software and files on my old PC.

I can do that as well. I've never had one before but when I picked up the case it came with an ips system. It has a remote with it that allows me to change the fan color and what they do. You can see it in the pick I upoaded. It's kinda cool

Your processor says 4.7 gb. What does it boost to. I would think that 4.7 is the base clock right :???

Sorry, I missed this. Yes but I'm not sure what it can go up to but I do know I can overclock it. I remember briefly looking at the software for it. It contained a lot of info so I thought I'd go back to it later after I get everything else going like I want it to, first.

I went to Micro Center earlier today to get a 2TB SSD as a backup drive. But, I ended up getting a 4 TB:

https://www.microcenter.com/product/671225/samsung-990-pro-4tb-samsung-v-nand-tlc-nand-pcie-gen-4-x4-nvme-m2-internal-ssd

I also got a mouse pad (my old one is in bad shape) and got a specialized tool kit just for Pc's, cell phones, consoles for gaming, and more. The Micro Center page for this didn't have enough info. So, I'm posting the Ifixit.com site so you can see more detail:

That site also has a ton of info on how to fix many things! I remember posting about but not sure if was here or not. They also have youtube vids.

Bigguy

Nice price for that. I know it's on sale but my 1TB cost me 165 or somethin like that.

They had other brands that were very high priced for the TB. But, the sales rep said it was faster than the others.

They also have a 'Hands-Free Device Opener - Remove screens with the turn of a crank' which I haven't got yet and may or may not need, just yet:
