I can log into my forum but when I try to access the admin area it tells me I have the wrong password.

I am definitely using the same password.

How can I fix this?

I tried the reset password options.
Using the secret question it tells me my answer is wrong (it might be)
Using the password reset - send me an email - I don't get an email. (even though its definitely the right email address) 

In the documentation I found an SQL query to change password BUT it seems that was relevant to SMF2.0.x and it doesn't work for 2.1.x
